Huestis, Trustees C. L. Tuff, Bernard ~tnkel, snd C. R. Ferr~ll, with Alwtn as Recorder. The minutes of the previous meeting having been read and aooroved, ~'ayor Muestis called for a report by th~ ~ater ~ain Committee cover- ing a main extension to feed properties in the Unit "A" Bivlston of Shirley Hills and looping the system at thst oolnt. Certain physical snd legal details not ~ret having been covered, the matter was remanded back to committee for a report to be msde at ~ later meeting subject to committee announcement. The council received and heard o petition underslgned, by ~. H.'gillison, J. ~ilton Uneer, Halvor Nuten, and Lyal Quam calling 1'or ~ rosin extension along Plummer Avenue to serve Lots 2, 3, 15,16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, & 23, all of Plock 3, Abraham Lincoln Addition to Lakeside Park. On motion by Alwin, Trustee Ferrall supporting, the matter was turned over to committee to be de,It with slong with the ~hirley Hills extension. This the council unanimously approved. Following discussion, TTrustee Ferrall presented the following Resolution, to wit: That payment of the ~innetrista borderline street improvement - amount stated -, snd the Dell ~treet, Pryant Ave., Harrison Aven~e, Wakefield and Proderick Avenues street improvement and oiling - such payment to be made by the village - be submitted to popular vote at the village election of Dec. 5th, 1939. Trustee Tuf~~ seconding the motion for adoption, the vote stood as follows: Those in favor, Tuff, Winkel, Ferrall, and Alwin. Those against, None; and so the resolution stood adopted. ~ith reference to the coming village election, Alwin pre~ented the following resolution: Resolved that J. ~. Adams, ~. R. Ferra!l, snd ~i!liam Kickhafer, ~r. serve as day-time Judges of Vlectlon, and that F. P. LeAkley and ~grs. Chas ~mith serve as daytime Clerks of Election. Further, that Pernard '~tnkel, ~.~. M. Johnson, and L. 'chris serve as Might-time Judges of Mlectlon, snd that ~rs. ~.. L. Gebo and ~r~. ~. Olew~'~e serve as night-time Clerks pi' ?lection, and that all of the above be given timely notice of ~heir .sopoint- merits. Trustee Tuff seconded the motion for adoption, the council ~concurring without dis~nt. On motion by Trustee C. L. Tufz~, Trustee Ferra]! ~econding, end the council concurring, the clerk was authorized to write the Roard of ~.~ound Consolidated School, Dist. No. 85, for its ressons for the nonpayment of the costs of watermain improvements along school property. The Clerk v~es also authorized to write the ~oodend ~reenheuses co~ering the removal from Cosmos Garden Club, possession of Canna tubers ss!raged from the vi!!~ge pub, llc scuare flower beds; this on motion by trustee C. L.
