July 21, 1942.
The p,urpose of this meetin6 was to receive bids on the construction
of a Pump House over the County ?fell on 9illa. ge L~t No. 54, ~'uditor's
Eubdivislon No, 167. Hespondln~_ to roll-call were fJayor Louise Huestls,
--Trustees H. J. Rondorf and Calvin Inman, with Alwtn as Recorder.
Present also as the only bidderwas [~. A. Tyler.
After the reading of the Tyler bid of $71§.00 it was moved by, 't'rustee
Hondorf that the bid of $718.00 be accepte~.~ by the Council. This
motion was sustained by Trustee Inman, the rest of the council con-
c~rring.
On the question of a ~3aster ~,~eter for the new pump, a motion was ms~e
by 'trustee ~ondorf that the clerk confer with the ~adger ~,,Teter Co.
on prices. These being found in excess of $100.00, the clerk was to
advert!se for bids in the next issue of the ?!innetonka Pilot. This
motion was seconded by ~.lwln, the council agreeing..
On a general agree.~ent without motion, the clerk was instructed to
confer with the Fadden Pump Co. on the ins~tall~tion of the new Peerless
pump. The clerk was also to contact ~ax ~orenson on changes in
th~ water main inlet in relation to the oosition of the pump.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
