~t the place of ~he fire in order to put out incipient fires without
unnece~:~r~ w~ter d~m~ge. The m~tter w.~ t~bled, mo~nent.~ril~, without
oc. tlon by the council.
T. wo letters were read before the council, one from the L. E. ~tre~ter
Lu~,ber Co. refusing the sale of ~ p~rt of Lot 44, Eoehler's ~ddition
to ~,~ound, ~,nd the othe~ from ~¥. H. A. Koehler ~greeing to sepal Lots
43, 42, 41, 40, ~,nd such other contiguous lots still owned by him for
the purpose of widening Dell E~treet. On ~ motion by Trustee F~ondorf,
Inm~n supnorting, the council agreed to purchase the Koehler lots
under the t~r~s ?nd cond. ition~ l~,id down in his le~t~r of Oct. 5th,
1942.
~he council received the s~ngle and only bid of the N~.tlon~l Tank
~.~inten~nce Coroor~tlon of Des ~oine~, Iowa, with reference, to the
cleaning, ~c~lin~, ~nd p~inting of the village w~ter t~nk ~nd tower.
The bid ~,~-~s in re~pon~e to the village ,?dvertisement ~poe~rln~ in
the ~innetonka Pilot of ~ept. 17, 19~2, ~,nd ~greed to follow village
speciflc~tlons for the work for the sum of $709.00. On a motion
by Trustee Jones, Trustee Rondorf seconding, the council Pccepted
the bid of the N~tion~l T~nk 5~inten~nce Corp. ~.nd Putho~i~.ed nn
i~medi~te procedure of the work.

notified to completely overhaul the old vilely, ge pump. This motion
