1945-03-06758 VILLAGE OF MOUND MINUTES 0N ~HE REGULAR MEHTING OF THE MOUND VILLAGE COUNCIL HELD Max-eh 6th, · 1945. Responding to roll call at this me, et~ng were Mayor Louise Huestts, ~l-ustees NeWcomb, Pa'oecker~, and Rondorf, .with Alvin recording. The m~ss of the meeting of Feb, 6th, 1945, having been rea~ and approved, the meeting proceded with the reading of financial reports from the f,{oUnd Volunteer Fire Dept., .and from the .Mound ~'ire Men's Relief AssoCiation. On a motion by Alvin, Rondorf supporting', the 'councill ordered the reports approved and filed. Acting om petition, Atwin moved that .~I&rich gugster be awarded a permit to sl~oot vermin within the confines of the village of Mound. Rondorf sec.)mded this motion, the co%$nciI agreeing. On the reco:~mendation of ~ater Commit%es clhairman G. F. Treasurer ~[~hnson submit%lng a list of collateral offered by the State Bank ~f Mound as security for village deposits, it was move4 by trustee '.;ewcomb that the same be approve~ and that the clerk and the treasurer be authorized to sign the necessary instruments ~esignatin~ the First National Bank of Minneapolis as depository for the securities. B~oeckert supported this motion, the council agreeing. Upon the red,ding of the village finsncial report for the month of February by Treas. M. N. Johnson, it was moved, by Broeckert, Newcomb supPorting, that the sa~e be approved and filed. This met the a~o~roval of the council. On a motion by ~ondorf, ~roecker% supporting, the clerk was authorized to pu~chase/~ dozen corporation cocks and ~ dozen curb cocks with necessary f~ttings, same to be for ~" services. / In connection with the purchase by the village of an alley approach through Lo%~7, Auditor's Subdivision, 170, to the Village Municipal Building and to the Vills~e Garage, ~rustee H.ondorf presehted the follow- lng' resolution and moved its adoption, to wit. ' RESOLVe, that the Village Oouncil of the V~llage of Moun~ herebY approve and ratify the classification of those certain lands described i9 List 136 "C" as non-conservation lands. Newcomb seconding the motion for the adoption of the above resolution, the vote of the council was unanimous. The clerk having presented a lis% of assessments against affected frontage for the taring of Dell Street, Fryant, Harrison, Wakefield, and Broderlck Avenues, and Highland ~oulevard,~lt was moved by Newcomb that the same be a0proved subject to the checking and OK of Road Co,mitres Chairman ~.
