MINUTES OF THE ME~ULAR ~ETING OF THE MOUND VILLAGE COUNCIL! HELD
April 3r~, 1945.
Present at %his meeting were Mayor Louise Huestis, Trustees Newcomb,
Br'oe=kert, and Hondorf, with Alwtn recording.
Fol~owing ~he readin6 and approval of the minutes as read, the meeting
opened with %he reading of a communication from Mr. ~'homas F. McCarthy,

0n a motion by ~ondorf, the Mayor was authorizedd~%o communicate %ne
request of ~the ~o~d Village Co,oil to Sherifi- garl ~rown fora %he
appointment of ~'ra~ L. ~roschen as a special police for
neighborhood of nennepin Oount~. Ahis on the petition of Police
officer J. S. Adams. The above aoproved~ motion was. seconded by council-
man ~co~b.
N~comb mo~ed that ~$IIce~fficer, J. S. Adams be authorize~ to follow
the village fire trucks to any fire within the limits of the village
for ~he p~o~e cf contro~ng epeetator~ and traffic. ~ondorf supposed
thi~ motion, the eo~cil agreei~
~omm~ications over the signat~e of Mrs. E. Pal~ calling attention
to damage ~ne to her property by dogs an~ fatty channele~ street
~ainage, w~ere read before the co~cil and t~ned over to ~oad
Committee chapman R. J. Ron~orf ~or investigation
The petition of Harold Nickisch for the widening and ~adi~ of an
alley back of his lot 50, and the lots of other signatories to the
pet~n Ioca~ed within Skarp & Lindquist's Ravenswood, and the petition
of C~i Enerson, Lets 35&36, Glen Arbor, an~ others, for the widening
an~ gra~ of Fai~ood Ave., in Glen Ambor, were t~ned over
*hairman Hondorf for the attention of ~ox ~os.
F7 gene,ral assent and without motion, c~hairman Mondorf was also
authoriae~ ~o delegate Cox Bros. to grade the unplatted East portion
of the Mound Union Cometary.
By ~eneral assent, the council also agreed to accept th~~ of the
curb newly ¢ontructed in front of the Methodist Episcop~Ir~u~er the same
conditions prevailing in other curb and walk contructlon.
With the exeeotion of the Dr. J. p. Wllktns for $8.00, which was
eove~ed by ~orkmen's Comp~nsatlon Insurance, the following bills were
aporoved and ordered paid:
