A motion w~s submitted by Hetu, Newcomb supporting, thct the yearly
w~ge of Gilbert Bl~kstve~t, C~re%~.ker of the mound Union Cemetery,
be r~ised to $175.O0. This w~s c~rried by the council ~ ~
After discussion it w~s rgreed by the council thrt the ,
Civic Club be given custody of the Mound Villege P~rk ~nd P~vtliom
for the year 1947 with the understanding thet the.Club p~y ell
electric light rnd telephone bills incurred within the P~.rk, the vill~ge
to ~ssume the rep,.irs on the pe. villon building. This w~s on the motion
of Alwln, Hetu supporting.
The clerk w~s instrueted to send ~ letter of invlt~tion to the Keys
Well Drilling Co. of St. Psul %o meet with the council ~% its regu/~r
meeting of M~y 6th, 1947
Under Ieg~I counsel, and following procedures elsewhere dlc)~te~ into
these minu~es, the Mound Villege council ~uthorized the clerk to
~dvertise for bids with reference to the s~le of Vlll~.ge of Mound
W~ter N~tn CertIfic~tes of Indebtedness in ~he ~moun% of $90,000.00,
such ~dvertisemen%$ to ~ppe~r in the April ?4th ~nd M~y 1st, 1947,
issues of the Ninnetonk~ Pilot, ~nd the dete for~ the reception of bids
set ~$ May 6th, 19'47, ~ 8 o'clock, P. M.
