Present, also; on invitatlor~ were ~ayor-elec% Dr. Wm, I Davis, and Councilman-elect Raymond L. Pie~Ice. Edwin A. Hendricks, attorney, and Arleigh Smith stood by in an advisory oapaclty. The previously unapproved minutes of November 28th having been presented corrected, read, a~d approved, the meeting proceeded with a motion by Newcomb to charge off from the records of the Water Dept, the unpsld accounts of Donald D. Kook, of Lot 1I, Plk. 2, Lakeside Park, and of J, F. Martin of Lot 3, Blk. 1, Shirley Hills, Unit "D", because of difficulties of collection. Hetu seconded this motion, the c~uncil carrying, B{. N. Johnson, Village month of November, the council approved the report on the motion and second of Rondorf and Hetu. son John~presenttng the report covering the Municipal Liquor Store, it was moved by Alvin that the same be accepted. As s, re as sm~ance to, the council of the legal qualifications of the village's newly elected officials, the clerk presented to the council the ,properly signed official certificates of Wm. I Dsvls, F_ayor; Raymond L. Pierce, Councilman; LeRoy V. Alwin, Recorder; James F. Adams, Constable; and M. Charles Kelley, Justice of the' Peace. The qualtflcationeof Alwin, Adams, and Kelley were contin- gent upon their furnishing a satlsf.ac%ory bond. Fdwtn A. Hendrtcks presented for the approval of the council the sssessment rolls covering Water Main Project No. 8 and the curb and gutter improvement of Central ~venue.
