MINUTES OF .THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE MOUND VILLAGE COUNCIL HELD
Tuesday, December 23rd, 1947 st 2 P. M.
The purpose of this meeting wes to authOrize the sale of U. ?. Tressur
bonds held by the Water Dept. to cover payment of 85~ of the bid ~nd
construction Cost in the sinking of the n~w village well st Lafayette
Park.
Pre~ent st this meet. lng were ~'.ayor Louise Huestis, Councilmen Ne. wcomb
and Rondorf, with Alwin recording.
Considering ~ bill presented by the Ke~S ~Eell Drilling Co. in the
amount of 4'7,484.00, which wes figured as 85~ of the bid, and s first
payment ~s agreed to by contract, NeWcomb moved that. the same be
paid. Rondorf seconded this motion, the council concurring.
Newcomb movedth~t the Village i~eesurer be authorized to sell
$7,500.O0 worth of U. ~. Treasury Bonds held by the Vlllsge Water
DeFertment end that the proceeds be credited to the Water Fund.
Rondorf supported this motion, the council egreeing.
The purpose of the meeting being fulfilled, the council adjourned.
