Meeting called to order at 8 P.M., at the Village Office.
Minutes of the Adjourned Regular Meeting held February llth., 1952
were read dud on Motion by Pierce, second by Winkel, were
unanimously approved.
?he appointment of the Village Manager was discussed at length, but
action was taken.
Sly reported to the Council the request from the Mound Business
Association, that a time be appointed when their Committee could
have about an hours time for the purpose df presenting matters for
the consideration of the Council. Sly was authorized to invite them
to be present at the Regular Meeting, March Ath.
Donald E. Upton and Howard Simar, partners in the operatio~ o'f the
Suburban Well Company of Island Park, were heard. 'They desired to learn
as to what action on thei~ part would be necessary to secure
permission to occupy the ~ear part of a structure located on lot 4,
McNaughts Additi~n~u being that part which was allowed to be attached
under a temporary permit issued March 3rd., 1947, and renewed for a
period o~ X year "from the 'date April 6th., 1948. It w~s the opinion
of the Council that no renewal of the temporary permit Be granted,
and that the Village Attorney shoultbe asked for an 0pi~ion as
to the required action on the part of the Council which would
effect the removal of this temporary structure.
A letter from Mrs. Signa Parelious, dated February '12th, 1952
was read, in which permission was requested to locate a house
trailer on lot 13, Auditors Subdivision 167. Council requested
that 'the Building and Zoning Ordinances be checked, and that
the Village Attorney be requested tO advise as to means whereby permit
could be with-held. Further that if the Ordinances in force
are not adequate to ec~trotl similar situations, one should be
drawn which the Council could enact.
Winkel offered, and Bly seconded the following resolution:
WHEREAS, The Village Council of the Village of Mound, Hennepin
County, Minnesota, has received from the County Auditor of Hennepin
County, Minnesota, a list of lands in said Village which became the
property of the State of Minnesota under the provisions of law
declaring 'the forfeiture of lands ~o the State for non-payment of
taxe.e, which said list has been designated as gist #~44C#, February 19th~.

WHEREAS, each parcel of land de?cr_ibed, in_eaid lis_t..has h.eretofor
been classified by the Board of County Gommz8s~oners or nennepzn
County Minnesota.. as non-conservation, land and the. sale thereof has ben
authorized by said Board of County Commissioners, ._
NOW, THEREFOR, BE IT RESOLVED, by said Village Council, acting
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes for 1945, Section ~82.01, that the said
classification by the said Board of County Commissioners of each
parcel of land described in said list as non-conservation land be and
the same is hereby approved and that the sale of each such parcel of land
be and the same is hereby approved.
The question was on the adoption of the resolution and the
roll being called there were Five Yeas and No Nays.

Copies of the Auditors Report, prepared byMcLaughlln-Mullenmaeter-
May & Co., covering the operations for the year 1951 of the
Liquor Stores were distributed to each member of the Council.
Bly reported to the Council that it would be the obligation
of the Village to secure plans, advertise for bids and let the
contract for the construction of the curbs alone State Aid
County Road #125, before the County would complete the
surfacing of that part of the highway.
On motion duly made, seconded and carried, the meeting was

Meeting called to order by Acting Mayor Behmler, also present
were Councilmeg Bly and Winkel. Mayor~ Davis~conf~ined in a hospital~
and Councilman Pierce out of town.

The following Amendment to the Zoning Ordinance # 46, proposed
by Winkel, second by Bly,
ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE /$/46,
RELATING TO TRAILERS.
THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF MOUND
ORDAINS:
Section 1. Zoning Srdinance No. A~,
as amended, is hereby amended by
adding to Section ~ thereof the
fol lowing:
#12. No trailer or movable dwelling
shall be located in the Residential
District or Multiple Dwelling
District, and no trailer or ~movable
dwelling shall be located in any
other zoning district within the
Village without the approval of the
Village Council. #
Section 2. This amendment to Zoning
Ordinance No.. 48, as amended, shall
be in force and effect from and after!
its passage and publication.
The vote was on the adoption of the
Ordinance and stood,' For, Behmler, Bly,
and Winkel, and so the Ordinance was
passed.
