The following Amendment to the Zoning Ordinance # 46, proposed by Winkel, second by Bly, ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE #46, RELATING TO TRAILERS. THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF MOUND ORDAINS: Section 1. Zoning Ordinance No. 46, as amended, is hereby amended by adding to Section 6 thereof the fol lowing: #12. No trailer or movable dwelling shall be located in the Residential District or Multiple Dwelling District, and no trailer or .movable dwelling shall be located in any other zoning district within the Village without the approval of the Village Council. ~ Section 2. This amendment-to Zoning Ordinance No. 46, as amended, shall be in force ~d effect from and after its passage and publication.. The vote was on the adoption of the Ordinance and stood,. Published in the MinnetonMa Pilot on the 6th day of March, 1952. (3-6) ~ 1306 VmLLAGE: OF MOUND Liquor Store Nanager Pat Nagel, was heard on the matter of the purchase of an ice cube making machine. His report that the On Sal.e Bar required the purchase of two bushels of ice pe~ day at a present cost of $1.00 per bushel, with the prospect that the price wquld be advanced on Narch lat., to $1.25 per bushel. The tone'us of opinion of the Councilmen was that the purchase of a machine would be advisable and that it would soon pay for its cost through savings in expense. On motion offered by Wlnkel, 'second by Bly, the following Resolution was adopted by. vote Three Yeas, No Nays. Resolved that the Acting Village Manager be ~ti~ecte:d to insert in the Pilot, an advertisement for bids for the purchase of an ice cube making machine, of approximately six bushels capacity in 24 hours. Further that the request should state the time when sealed bids would be op'ened, that the price bid should be based on cash payment $c:da~telAf%eF delivery,~ ~lth an all~ernate bid based on a specified deferred payment plan, and that the time required for delivery after order is placed should be stated. Acting Mayor Behmler stressed the importance of'~ the adoption of a revised Buil'ding Code by proper Ordinance. Council recommended that the Millage Attorney check up on the revised outline which had been proposed about two years ago, but never acted on by the Council. Village Attorne$ ~;Uolner was requested to. advise the Council regarding proceedure necessary to protect the Village against loss of Special Assessments levied against property forfeited to the State for non- pa~yment of taxes. Bly reported to the Council that the Village share of the costs for the Highway #110~. improvement was going to run more than $5000. over the estimates indicated by the Engineers under date of Aug. l§th., 19§1, and that money available in the P.I. Ph Fund for the financing of the improvement would not be sufficient and that it appeared that some means would have to found to provide the needed funds. The figures supporting this report are contained in a letter dated March 3rd., 1952 from Toltz, King and Day, Village Engineers. Wlnkel proposed and Bly seconded, the foil&wing resolution, RESOLVED that Toltz, King & Day, Village Engineers be and are hereby authorized to prepare the Assessment Roll for curb, gutter and sidewalks in accordance with .the approved plans 'for the Improvement Project Hlghw.a.y No. 110, at a charge for said service of not to exceed $200.00.. On vote approving the resolution there were 3 Yeas, and 0 Nays. Carried. Bly proposed and ~nkel seconded the following,. RESOLVED that the Village Engineers, in calculating the 'unlt prices to be assessed when preparing the Assessment Roll fo~; curb, gutter and sidewalks, add to the contract prices the - -- proper shere of excavating, engineering overhead and legal expenses. VILLAGE OF MOUND The report made by the State of Minnesota Department of Health, following an lnspectlon of 'the Water Department facilities, dated January 31st., 19§2, was presented to the Council and ~ead.
