Village seconded and carried, the meeting ad- Manager MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING, January 10, 1955 Meeting calied to order in the Village office at 8:00 P.M. present were Mayor Behmler, Trustees Livingston, Litts and pierce, Manager Leikvotd and Attorney Bonham. Minutes of the regular meeting of December 13, 1954 were read. pierce moved, Litts seconded, and it was unanimously passed to approve the minutes as read. Baird ~ '-~ ~hirley Hills "D" Dwelling i2,000 OFFICIAL DEPOSITORY On resolution by Lltts, seconded by Livingston, the State Bank of Mound was designated the official bank for the Village of Mound for the year 1955, provided that that institution deposits sec~uri$ies in the amount of $95,000. SAFETY DEPOSIT On resolution by Livingston, seconded by Lifts, the Treasurer together with anyone of the Trustees or Mayor shall have access to the Safety Deposit Box located in the vault of the State Bank of Mound. Roll being called, the vote was as follows: Litts Aye Livingston Aye BOX 1520 VILLAGE OF MOUND pierce Aye Behmle r Aye And so the resolution was carried. TREASURER BONDED Litts moved, Livingston seconded that the Treasurer be bonded for $15,000- on roll call, the vote was as follows: Litts Aye Livingston Aye pierce Aye B ehmle r Aye And so the motion was carried. ACTING MAYOR On resolution by Livingston, seconded by Litts, Trustee pierce was designated Acting Mayor for the year 1955. Roll being called, the vote was as follows: Livingston Aye Litts Aye pierce Aye Behmle r Aye And so the motion was carried. SIGNING OF CHECKS Livingston resolved that all checks or drafts drawn on village funds shall be signed by the Mayor, the Village Manager and the Treasurer; in the absence of the Mayor they shall be signed by the Acting Mayor. Pierce seconded the resolution, and on roll call the vote was as follows: Livingston Aye pierce Aye Litts Aye Behmler Aye And so the resolution was carried. VILLAGE OF MOUND 1521 OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER On resolution by Livingston, seconded by Litts, the Minnetonka pilot was designated as the official newspaper for the year 1955. On roll call the vote was as follows: Livingston Aye Litts Aye Pierce .~ye Behmle r Aye And so the resolution was passed. TRANSFER From.ProJ 8 to P.I.R. Sinking Fund Livingston m~ved that $3,000 be transferred from project 8 to the P.I.R. Sinking Fund upon receipt of the check from the School District #85 in payment of their assessments.
