1955-02-141522 VILLAGE OF MOUND MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING, February 14, 1955 Meeting called to order in the Village Office at 8:00 P.M. Present were Mayor Behmler, Trustees Pierce, Wenkstern, Litts, and Livingston, Attorney Bonham and Manager Leikvold. Minutes of the regular meeting of January 10, 1955 were read. Livingston moved, Pierce seconded, and it was 'unanimously passed to approve the minutes as read. ' Minutes of the adjourned meeting of January 24, 1955 were read. Litts moved, Wenkstern seconded, and it was unanimously passed to approve the minutes as read. Pierce moved that we reject all bids. There was no second to the motion. Litts moved, Livingston seconded ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The Village of Mound will re- ceive bids for a police car. Spe- cifications are on file in the Mound Village Office. Cash or certified check equal to ten~ per cent (10%) of total must accom- pany each bid. Bids will be opened at 2:00 p. m. on Monday, February 14, 1955, in the Village Office. The Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Carsten D. Leikvold, Village Manager (1-27, 2-3) that we accept Piche Chevrolet Company,s low bid on a Chevrolet in the amount of $1,140.80. On a roll call the vote was as follows: Litts Yea Livingston Yea Pier6e Nay Wenkstern Nay Behml er Nay And so the motion was lost. Pierce moved that all bids be rejected. Wenkstern seconded, and it was carried unanimously. Wenkstern moved, Pierce seconded and it was unanimously car- tied to re-advertise for bids on a police car with a minimum horse power of 180. V.ACATION - Shirley Hills Unit "F" A petition was presented, signed by the property owners affected, asking for the vacation of the alley, parking lot and park in Block 1 Shirley Hills Unit "?". Wenkstern moved that a hearing be called on this petition. Livingston seconded, and it was unanimously carried. On motio d Village Manager made, seconded and carried, the meeting adjourned
