1955-04-11VILLAGE OF MOUND MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING April 11, i5.3.3,._ Meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. in the Village office. present were Mayor Behmler, Trustees Wenkstern, Pierce and Litts, Attorney Bonham and Manager Leikvold. Minutes of the regular meeting of March 14 were read, and on motion by Wenkstern, seconded by Pierce, it was unanimously passed to approve the minutes as read. Minutes othe adjourned regular 'meeting of March 21 were read. On motion by pierce, seconded by Wenkstern, it was unanimously passed to approve the minutes as read. SUBURBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY RECIEF Pierce offelaSd the following resolution: ~EREAS the governing body of the Village of Mound has heretofore were reviewed: Subdivision Building Cost No. Mound Terrace Prch & GaF ~ ~ Svl van Heights Warehouse 50,000 6 Auditor, s #170 Commercial 7,200 7 Mound Reroof Gar 8 Lynwold Park Brick Coat 1,000 9 NOTICE OF HEARING ON IMPROV~ To Whom it May Concern: Notice is hereby given that the Village Council of Mound will meet in the Village Hall at 8:00 p. m. on Monday, April 11, 1955, to consider the improvement of certain roads and .property in Shirley Hills Unit '~D' and Shir- ley Hills Unit "B" by the con- struction of a storm sewer, pur- suant to M.S.A. Secs. 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Ch. 398). The area proposed to be assessed is the benefited property. The es- t/mated cost of such improve- ment is $6,995. Such persons as desire to be heard with reference to the proposed improvement will be heard at this meeting. Carsten D. Letkvold, ~ ,."~ Village Manager (3-31, 4-7) sider the improvement of a por- tion of Highway 15, Grant Ave- nue, unnar~ed street between Grant Avenue and Highway No. 7, and Eernside Avenue from the unnamed street to Highway No. 7, by the installatiori of cttrb and gutter, pursuant to M.S.A. Secs. 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Ch. 398). The area proposed to be assessed for such improvement is the property abutting on such streets. The estimated total.cost 'of such improvement is ~11,$00. Such persons a~ d~ire to be heard with reference to the Pro- posed improvement will be heard at this me?ting. ' Village Manager (S-31, 4-7) VILLAGE OF MOUND 1535 entered into a written contract dated March 8, 1954 between said municipality and the Suburban Hennepin county Relief Board of the County of Hennepin for the administration and supervision of poor relief in said ~municipalit.v, and WHEREAS it is the desire of both the said municipality and said Suburban Hennepin county Relief Board to continue the terms of said contract in full force and effect until such time as the same may be canceled by either party thereto as in said contract provid ed. N0~ THEREFORE IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, That all of the terms, conditions and provisions of that certain contract heretofore entered into between said Village of Mound and the Suburban Henne- pin county Relief Board, be, and the same hereby are continued in full force and effect and are binding upon both parties thereto the same as though said contract was at this date signed and made anew, and said contract shall remain in full force and effect until such time as the same may be hereafter canceled by either party under the terms and conditions as provided in said contract. B~ IT HEREBY _~JRTHER RESOLVED That a copy of this Resolution shall be signed and executed and filed with the Suburban Hennepin county Relief Board. REZONING Sylvan Heights Livingston moved, pierce seconded, and it was unanimously carried that a hearing be held on rezoning the following lots in Block 5 of Sylvan Heights: Lots 4,5,6,7,8,9,10 and ll and Yost Street vacated.
