MINUTES OF REGUL&R MEETING, July 11, 1955
Meeting called to order in the Village office at 8:00 P.M.
present were Mayor Behmler, Trustees Livingston, Litts and Wenkstern.
Minutes of the regular meeting of June 13, 1955 were read.
Wenkstern moved, Livingston seconded, and it was unanimously
passed to approve the minutes as read.
Minutes of the adjourned regular meeting of June 20, 1955
were read. In the resolution headed, "Water Department Loan"
on page 1562, the council wished to have the word, ~surplus"
stricken out in favor of "cash balance". With this correction
Livingston moved, Litts seconded, and it was unanimously passed
to approve the minutes as read.
The minutes of the adjourned regular meeting of June 23,
1955 were read. The council pointed out a typographical error
which they directed the Manager to correct, with this correction,
Litts moved, Wenkstern seconded, and it was unanimously passed to
approve the minutes as read. OFF SALE B~R LICENSE
Bab!er' s Cafe
An application for an off sale beer license signed by Donna
Babler of Babler's Cafe and Grocery was presented to the council.
A petition asking that the application be denied was also pre-
sented to the council. After some discussion Livingston moved
that the application be rejected. With a second by Wenkstern the
.motion was carried unanimously.
