MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED MEETING OF MARCH 29, 1977 at 7:30 P. M. AT
THE MOUND COUNCIL CHAMBERS
Present were: Mayor Tim Lovaasen, Councilmen Gordon Swenson, Robert Polston,
Ben Withhart and Orval Fenstad; City Manager Leonard. L. Kopp.
The Mayor called the meeting to order a.nd announced that he and the City Manager
were leaving immediately for Maple Plain on the Telephone matter. Acting Mayor
Gordon Swenson took over the meeting.
MINUTES
Fenstad moved, and Polston seconded. a motion to accept the minutes of the February
22, 1977 meeting. The vote was unanimously in favor, so carried, and. accepted.

Direct a letter to the archftcet advising that we will have the work done
and bill them for the expense.
Withhart moved and Fenstad seconded. a motion
RESOLUTION 77-144 RESOLUTION DIRECTING CITY ATTORNEY TO
TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION TO HAVE CITY
HALL ROOF REPAIRED AND GET INDEPENDENT
EXPERT WITNESS' OPINION ON CAUSE AND CURE
AND ALERT THE ARCHITECT OF SUCH PENDING
ACTION .

Polston moved a.nd Fenstad seconded a motion
RESOLUTION 77-145 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE SUPPORT OF
THE MOUND CITY COUNCIL FOR THE APPLICATION
OF A PROJECT GRANT UNDER THE TITLE OF THE
OLDER AMERICANS ACT
The vote was Fenstad, Polston and Swenson aye; Withhart abstained as he had. helped
write the application. So resolved.

Lovaasen resumed the chairmanship of the meeting. 8:15 P. M.

A list of bills totaling $4, 107. 77 was presented. for consideration. Swenson moved. a.nd.
Withhart seconded a motion to pay these bills where funds are available. The roll call
vote was unanimously in favor.
