Meeting called to order in the Fire Station at 8:00 P.M. Present were
Meyor Behmler, Trustees Adams, L~ckhart, Livingston, and Brazman and ~anager

UNIO~ WAGE
Lockhart moved, Brazman seconded, and it was carried that Frank Living-
ston represent the Council on the Union Fact-Finding Committee. Livingston
not voting.
UNION HEALTH &
WELFARE PLAN
Adams moved, Brazman seconded and it' was unanimously carried to allot
the sum of $750 for Helath and Welfare plan for village employees.
Brazman moved, Livingston seconded, and it was unanimously carried to
furnish two shirts, two ties and one cap per year for each patrolman.
RETIREMENT OF VILIAGE ~PLOYEES
Behmler moved, Lockhart seconded, and it was unanimously carried that
employees are to retire on becoming 65 years of age, special cases to be
considered by the council.
On motion by Adams, secmded by Livingston, it was unanimously carried
to adjourn to reconvene January 22, 1957 at 8:00 P.M. in the Fire Station.

METROPOLITAN 'PLANNING
CC~MISSION BILL
Brazman moved, Adams seconded and it was unanimously carried to table
any action on the metropolitan planning c~atssion bill until further
information is received.

VILLAGE OF MOUND
N.S.P. Contracts
Brazman moved to accept the Northern States Po~er lighting contract for
the year 1957. The motion was lost due to lack of a second.
Livingston moved and Adams seconded that more facts be gotten the issue.
There were four yeas and one nay, so the motion was carried.
Adams moved, Livingston seconded and it was 'tmm'Limo'usly carried to
accept the lighting contract as follows:

Size of Lamps 2500 Lumen
Cost per Lamp $25.00 per year
Contract commencing on January 1, 1958
On roll call, the vote was as follows:

and so the motion was passed.

Lockhart moved, Livingston seconded, and it was unanimously carried to
postpone action on the Northern States Power Franchise until the next council
meeting for a more detailed discussion.

Adams moved, Livingston seconded, and it was unanimously carried to re-
appot_nt Dr. Kenneth Romness as Health Inspector for 1957.

Livingston moved, Adams seconded that GrieshaBer's increase in pa~7' Be retro-
active only to January l, 1957 and not October l, 1956. There were four yeas and
one nay, and so the motion was carried.
Livingston moved, Admus seconded, and it was unanimously carried to have the
Village Manager send the Teamsters Union Local 644 its counterproposal to their
last request made January 16, 1957. '-

Bramuan moved, Livingston seconded, and it was unanimously carried to paY
the firemen monthly.

mously carried to authorize the Village Manager
to advertise for bids for cleaning, painting and
if necessary, repairing of water tank.
