WAGE DISCUSSION
In answer to Drivers & Helpers LOcal Union No. 664 demands of February 14,
1956, Adams moved, Brazm~ seconded and it was unanimously carried to make the
following proposals .'
1. Increase Norma David 15~/hr instead of lO,/hr.
2. Include Police Department to also have Washington' s
Birthday as a holiday.
On motion duly made, seconded and carried, the meeting adjourned to
reconvene February 27, 1957 at 8:00 P.M. in the Fire Station.

The interest on the $5,000 for 6 months amounted to $56.25.
Adams moved, Livingston seconded, and it was unanimously carried to reinvest
the $i,500 left in the Liquor Fund in a C .D. for 6 months and to leave the inter-
est of $56.25 in the Liquor Fund. ,,~,
In Project #15 there is $3,046.65 and with the transfer from the above O.D.
in the amount of $1,000.00, there will be a total of $4,046.65. Adams moved,
Livingston .seconded, and it was unanimously carried to inuest $3,000 of this
in a C.D. for 6 months and $1,000 ~/~/~/ ~_n a C.D. for 1 year.
In Pro~ect #14 there is $1,139.13 and with the transfer from the a~ove C.D.
in the amount of $2,500.00, there will be a total of $3,639.13. ~isms moved,
Livingston seconded, and it was unanimously carried to invest $3,300 in a C .D.
for 6 months.

SEWER SURVEY C .D.
Adams moved, Livingston seconded, and it was unanimously carried to cash
the $2,~OO Sewer S~r~ey C .D. which matures February 20, 19~7 and pay Pfeifer
and Schultz the $2,500 owed them for making the sewer survey, and to transfer
the interest of $28.13 to Project #7.
HOUSE NUMBERING
The Junior Chamber of Commerce has offered their services on the street
signs and house number project. Adams moved, Livingston seconded, and it
was. unanimously carried to have the Village Manager give personal direction
to this project and to accept the /'Jr~ Chamber of Co~aerce's offer.
WAGE DISCUSSION
Adams moved, Livingston seconded and it was unanimously carried to pay
Fern Aplund 5~ more per hour, ma~ng the total increase 15~ per hour.
Livingston moved, Adams seconded, and it was unanimously carried to
give the Street Department employees time and one-half for Saturday work,
work to be done only at discretion or order of Village Manager.
Adams moved, Livingston seconded, and it was unanimously carried to
adjourn.
