SEWAGE DISPOSAL
Livingston moved, Brazman seconded, and it was unanimously carried that
a meeting be set for April 4, 1957 at 8:00 P.M. at the Fire Station with
someone from the Juran-Moody Bonding Company to discuss the Sewage Disposal
Project.
Adams moved, Lockhart seconded, and it was unanimous.ly carried to adjourn
Village Manager
Due to a snow storm, the meeting of April 4th was not held.
MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING, April 9, 1957
Meeting called to order in the Fire Station at 8:00 P.M. Present were
Mayor Behmler, Trustees Livingston, Adams, Lockhart, Brazman and Manager
Boxell.
Minutes of the regular meeting of March /2 were read. Livingston moved,
Adams seconded, and it was unanimously carried to approve the minutes as read.
Minutes of the adjourned regular meeting of March 20, 1957 were read.
Lockhart moved, Brazman seconded, and it was unanimously carried to approve
the minutes as read.
Minutes of the adjourned regular meeting of March 27th were read and on
motion by Livingston, seconded by Adams, were unanimouslyapproved as read.
TAX FORFEITED LAND
Livingston offered the following resolution and moved its adoption:
WHEREAS the following described properby, Auditor's Subdivision #168,
Lots 34-48 in Section 23, Twp. 117, Range24, was recently forfeited to the
State for non-payment of taxes,

NOW, THEREF0?~, be it resolved that the above described Parcel of land be
acquired from the State for public purposes, namely, Drainage.
The question was on the adoption of the resolution, and the roll being
called, there were five yeas and no nays, as follows:

OUTSIDE FIRE PROPTECTION
A meeting date with officials of M~nnestrista Township was set for April 18,
1957 at 8:00 PM. at the Fire Station.
LOST LAKE PHOJECT
The Manager was instructed to contact the Hennepin County Attorney in
~regard to the type of instrument desired and what it should contain to obtain
the property needed for this project. A committee of available council members,
Attorney Harry Olson and Village Manager Boxell are to meet with the Hennepin
County Attorney. They are to request the Hennepin County Attorney to clear with
the State Attorney General in regard to the type of instrument used and its
contents.

VILLAGE OF MOUND
SUBDIVIDERS
Roadways
Adams moved, Livingston seconded, and it was unanimously carried to amend the
previous policy in regard to subdividing, dated November 5, 1956, to read as
follows: Roadway to be brought up to grade; grade level to be established,
also proper drainage, road bed to have a minimum of two to four inches of
gravel base plus a minimum of 2-inch gravel finish coat, width of roadway
to be determined at the time of acceptance of final plat. Road profile and
plan is to be included with the final plat.
Watermain Extension
Brazman moved, Livingston s~.conded, and it was unanimously carried to require
the subdivider to assume the cost of watermain extension as required by the
village.
PAPDEE Property
Brazman moved, Livingston seconded, and it was unanimously carried to accept the
plat of the Pardee or present Robert Clark property as presented by Harold Olson
on tenative approval.
GRAVEL AND OIL BID
Brazman moved,
Village Manager to prepare bids for gravel and oil.
The date set for bid opening to be the regular
council meeting of May ]34, 1957 at 8:00 P.M. at
the Fire Station.
1967 ADVERTISEMENT FOR
BIDS -- ROAD OIL'
The Village of Mound win re-
ceive bids on 35,000 gallons, mowe
or less, of the following grade of
road oil: SC-O, 1 and 2 and MC-O,
1, 2 and 3. The oil must meet the
specifications of the Minnesota
Highway Department. The oil is
to be applied to the street in ac-
cordance with the direction of the
Village Manager.
Bids will be opened at 8:00
P. M. on May 14, 1957, at the
Mound Fire Station. Bond or cer-
tiffed check in the amount of
10% of the estimated total must
accompany each bid.
The Council reserves the right.
