MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF REVIEW MEETING, June 27, 1957
The Council meeting as the Board of Review was called to order at 7:30 P.M.
at the Fire Station. Present were Ma~or Behmler, Trustees Livingston, Adams,
Lockhart, ~ and Manager-Assessor Vernon Boxell.
Livingston mowed, Adams seconded, and it was unanimously carried that the
meeting be adjourned.

MINUTES OF REGUIARMEETING, July g, 1957
Meeting called to order in the Fire Station at 8:00 P.M. Present were
Mayor Behmler, Trustees Admus, Lockhart, Brazman and Nanager Boxell.
Minutes of the Regular Meeting of June 11, 1957 were read. Lockhart moved,
Adams seconded, and it was unanimously carried to accept the minutes as read.
M~nutes of the Adjourned Regular Meeting of June 24, 1957 were read, and
on motion by Brazman, seconded by Adamm, unanimously carried to be accepted as
VACATING OF ALLEY
A petition from W. Ho Barber Oil Co., Walter A. Halgren, and James E. Gimlo
requesting the vacating of alley located between Lots 4 & 5, Block 3, Shirley
Hills Unit "F", said alley being located west of the present site of Mee-?ee-Or
Oil Station, was read.
It was moved, seconded and carried that a hearing date for the vacating of
this alley be set for July 23, 1957 at 8:00 P.M. at the Fire Station.
~JILDING PERMIT
A request for a building permit from Allen Anderson, Skarp & Lindquist Glen
. Arbor, [et 16, Plat 62090, Parcel 3400, was read. The request was made for re-
modeling the present structure on tb~se premises, but it was made due to the
fact'that this is only a 40 foot lot but with an overall area of over 8,000 square
feet.
Brazman moved, Lockhart seconded, and it was unanimously carried to grant
the permit if Mr. Anderson obtained a written O.K. from his neighbor on the east
side of his property and presented it to the Village Council. Reason for grant-
ing this bailding permit was the fact that Yale Avenue, a 30~foot wide street
