RE: Interview for Dock and Commons Advisory Commission
Candidate interviews will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2009 for the five vacancies
on the Dock and Commons Advisory Commission. "This notice has been posted and
serves the purpose of notifying the public of a special meeting of the Council.
Council is advised to use the questionnaire in their packets. Members may also ask
additional pertinent questions, as reflected by the form. I am aware this is a
repetition of the questions on the application. However, responding orally to the
same questions will indicate candidates' ability to verbalize, their ability to think on
their feet, and their ability to think and express under pressure. To make it a fair
process, the same questions need to be asked of all the candidates.
Interviews should be followed by discussion, at which time Council will vote for the
candidates of choice for appointment.
