1957-09-10 Livingston proposed a resolution and moved its adoption %o declare a surplus in Project #6 in the amount of $96.82, and that this amount be transferred to the P.I.R. Sinking Fund. VILLAGE OF MOUND 1759 ANNEXATION A petition from the residents of Halsted~Park and Halsted Heights of Minne- trista Township to annex to Village of Mound was read. B. Erickson, chaiman of the board, appeared before the Council and discussed the organization and services rendered by the Rural Hennepin County Nursing Service. DRAINAGE IN BROOKTON Adams moved, Lockharb seconded, and it was unanimously carried to instruct the manager to look into the problem of drainage in Brookton, Lots 1,2,3,4,10,11, 12,13A and 13B and Koehler's Second Addition, Lots 19 and 20 and to make a report to the Council at the next meeting. BUILDING CODE . Brazman moved, Lockhart seconded, and it was unanimously carried to obtain a petition from Eugene Faaberg and Frank Kopecky requesting permission for a certi- ficate of early occupancy in their homes under construction. ORDINANCE #32 Trustee Lockhart offered the following resolution and moved its adoption: ~HEHEAS, because of change and growth of the Village of Mound and zoning regulations and development of the commercial area, Amendment No. I to Ordinance No. 32, which amendment was adopted on January 25, 1937 is outmoded, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Council repeal said amendment, such repeal to be effective according to law. FIRE T~JCK Brazman moved, Adams seconded, and it was unanimously carried to accept the fire truck and put it into service. 1760 VILLAGE OF MOUND PAYMENT ON FIRE T~3CK Adams moved, Lockhart seconded, and it was unanimously carried to make a payment of $3,941.25 to Minnesota Fire Equipment Company for the fire truck.
