ADJ0~PZ~D REGULAR MEETING, October 22, 1957
Meeting called to order at 8:00 P.M. at the Fire Station. Present were
Ma~or Behmler, Trustees Livingston, Adamm, Lockhart and Brazman and Manager
Boxell.
ANNEXATION NEARING
A petition was presented by a group of citizens of Minnetrista Township
opposing the annexation of certain properties on Halstead's Bay. Adams moved,
Lockhart seconded, and it was unanimously carried to continue the hearing to
November 6, 1957 at 8:00 P.M. at the Fire Station.
DRAINAGE DITCH
Livingston moved, Lockhart seconded, and it was unanimously carried to
accept the agreement drawn up between the Village of Mound and the following
property owners:
Mr. Ralph DeAling
Mrs. Solveig Dealing
Mr. Thomas Dwyer
Mrs. Betty Dwyer
Mr. W. R. Hennon
TEMPORARY CEE~IFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
Livingston moved, Adams seconded, and it was unanimously carried to grant
a temporary certificate of occupancy to Vernon H. Krueger on Lot 7, Block 13,
the Hi .ghlands.
TRANSFER OF FUNDS
LivingSton offered the following resolution and moved its adoption:
Resolved that the Village of Mound transfer from Project #14 the sum of $2,233.75
to Fire Department Capitol Outla~ Fund in the General Fund and that this of
$2,233.75 be repaid to Project #14 when the C.D. in the Water Fund is cashed on
December 24, 1957.
Resolved that the Village of Mound transfer from the Water Department the sum of
$6,000 to the Fire Department Capitol Outlay Fund in the General Fund and that
this sum of $6,000 be repaid to the Water Fund when the C.D. is cashed December
24, 1957.
Adams seconded the motion, and on roll call the vote was as follows:

Brazman Yea

Behmler Yea
there were no nays, and'the resolution was passed.

VILLAGE OF MOUND
FIRE TRNCK PAYMENT
Lockhart moved, Brazman seconded, and it was unanimously carried to make the
final payment on the fire truck in the sum of $8,233.75.
LITTLE LEAGUE BALL PARK
Lockharb moved, Livingston seconded, and it was unanimously carried to grant
the petition of Upper Tonka Little League, Inc., to use Lakewood Avenue located
in Shirley Hills Unit F, Block 4 as a parking area.
Lockhart moved, Adams seconded, and it was unanimously carried to adjourn,
to reconvene November 6, 1957 at 8:00 P.M. at the Fire Station.

ADJOUPJtED REGUIAR MEETING, November 6, 1957
Meeting called to order at 8:00 P.M. in the Fire Station. Present were
Mayor Behmler, Trustees Livingston, Adams, Lockhart, Brazman and Manager Boxell.
ANNEXATION HEARING
A request was made to withdraw the petition presented September 10, 1957 for
annexation by residents of Halstad' s Park and Halstad' s Heights. Livingston
moved, Adams seconded, and it was unanimously carried to accept the withdrawal.
PETITION TO CHANGE FROM PLAN B TO PIAN A
A petition was presented for a change of form of government from Plan B to
Plan A.
Livingston presented the following resolution and moved its adoption:
~HEPY~AS on November 6, 1957 a Petition signed by in excess of 200 Meund
voters and asking for submission to the voters of the question of adopting
Optional PLAN A for the Government of the Village was filed with the Council
and the petitioners are equal in number to 15% of those who voted at the last
Village Election
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that at the Annual Village Election on the 3rd of
December, 1957 the following proposition shall be submitted by Ballot to the
Voters of the Village:
"Shall Optional Plan A, modifying the Standard Plan of Village Government
