1959-03-12VILLAGE OF MOUND - ! WAGE DISCUSSION MINUTES OF THE ~LABCH 12, 1959 ADJOURNED COUNCIL MEETING The adjourned Council meeting of March 12, 1959 was held at the Mound Village Hall at 3:30 P.M. Present were: Mayor Behmler, Trustees Larson, Batdorf and Petersen and Manager Boxell. Larson moved the follc-~mg wage schedule be offered: 1. Water and Street Foreman 2. Equipment Operator 3. Police Pat rolmen 4. Liquor Store Clerk $2.55 per hour $2.35 per hour $2.30 per hour $1.45 per hour All other portions of the Union Contract to remain the same as the 1958 contract. Petersen seconded the motion. The vote was unanimously in favor. So carried. POLICE CAR BID Larson moved the following wage schedule be offered: 1. Village Clerk 2. Village Treasurer $1.65 per hour $1.65 per hour -Batdorf seconded the motion. carried. The vote was unanimously in favor. So Peterson moved and Batdorf seconded the motion, Be it moved on the recommendation of the Village Manager, the'Bid of Mound Motors, Inc. is the lowest bid and therefore be accepted.. Based on the following specified equipment. 1. First line tires 2. Suppressor type spark plugs 3. Front seat assembly 4.~ Dual muffler and exhaust pipe 5. ~'ll [present police equipment to be chs~ged to new car. The bid~bein~ $1,690.00.~ VILLAGE OF MOUND ':1935 The vote was uSnanimously in favor. So carried. Batdoi~moved and Larson seconded tbs motion, Be it moved that on the recommendation of the Village ~ianager the following Road Restrictions be posted in the ViLlage of Mound: ~DAD F~STRICTIONS - Pursuant to Ordinance In the interest of public convenience, weight limitations ~dll be put on all Village Streets in the Village of Mound. All Villa,-~e Streets in the Village of P~ound are restricted to~ four tons per axle weight. Emergency vehicles, such as fire, police or ambulances will not be restricted. The Village of Mound will not waive the weight restrictions or issue any special permits with respect to any other vehicles. ?~strictions will go into effect and continue, corresponding to Hennepin County Highway Department dates for P~ad P~strictionso ROAD RESTRICTIONS The vote was unanimously in favor. So carried. ?etersen moved the meeting be adjourned to the adjourned meeting of March l?, 19~9 at 7:30 P~M. at the Mound Village Office. Batdorf seconded the motion. The vote was uanimouslyin favor. So carried and adjourned.
