Brazman moved the meeting be adjourned until the adjourned meeting
of April 7, 1959 at the Mound F~re Station. Larson seconded the
motion. The vote was unanimously in favor so carried and adjourned.

VOLUNTEER FIP22/ENS RELIEF ASSOCIATION
The meeting of the Mound Volunteer Firemens Relief Association was held
April 6, 1959 - 8:00 PJ~. at the Mound Fire Station,
Present were: Officers of the Association and its Board of ~irectors,
the Village Clerk,: the Village Treasurer and the Village Manager.
Discussion was of the amending of the Articles of Incorporation and the
Association By-Laws.
~he Articles of Incorporation and the Association By-Laws were amended
by Resolution.
MINUTES OF THE ADJOUP~ED MEETING OF APRIL 7, 1959
The Adjourned Meeting of the Mound Village Uouncil was held April 7, 1959
at the Mound Village Office at 7:30 P.M.
Present were: Mayor Behmler, Trustees Batdorf, Brazman, Larson, Petersen,
Attorney Ploetz and Manager Boxell.
For or against the annexation of said territory to the
VillaEe of Mound, Minnesota
2. The polls at said election shall be open from ? o'clock A.M. until'
8 o'clock P.M. of said day.
3. Elroy Steffen, Mrs. R. E. Johnson and Mr. John Mueller, and, as
an alternate, Mro Tom Haglund, all residing in said territory, are hereby
appointed to be judges at said election, and they shall conduct the same so
far as practicable in accordance with the laws regulating the election df
town officers.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, That the Village Manager cause notice of said election
to be posted in three places within the said area at least ten days before the
date of said election.
Adopted and approved by the Village Council of the Village of Mound,
Minnesota, April 1, 1959.

Petersen offered the following resolution and moved its adoption,
BE IT RESOLVED that the Mound Village Council go on record, as being
opposed to the House File ~71 Bill, amd
BE IT ~ ~ESOLVED, that the legislative members from this District
be notified of this action.
