MINUTES OF THE CANVASSING BOARD FOR THE ELECTION OF
DECEMBER 8, 1959 at 7:30 P.M. at the MOUND FLKE STATION.
Present were: Mayor Larson, Trustees Gulden, Batdorf and Petersen;
Attorney P10etz and Manager Boxell.
Gulden offered the following resolution and moved its adoption. Batdorf
seconded the motion.
WHEREAS, on December 8, 1959 a Village Election was duly held in the
Village of Mound for the election of (1) Mayor for a term of two years;
(1) one Trustee for a term of three years; (1) one Justice of the
Peace for a term of two years; (1) one Constable for a term of
two years, and
WHEREAS, the Judges for said Election having duly counted the votes cast
therein, proclaimed the results and recorded the same in tally books,
provided for the purpose as follows:

AND WHEREAS, pursuant to M. S.A. No. 2.12. 36, the Village Council
shall meet as a Canvassing Board and declare the results ~
appearing from said returns, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said statute, the Village Council now meets as
a Canvassing Board for such purpose,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the following persons are
declared elected to the following offices:
Mayor
Trustee
Constable
Justice of the Peace
H. B. R. L, arson
Howard C. (Bud) Orn
Lamont Weiland
William R. Koenig
The Village Clerk is hereby instructed to give written notice to each
person chosen tolxis election to the office named and to certify the
results of said election to the County Auditor.

The mayor declared the meeting of the Mound Village Council as a
Election Canvassing Borad closed and the Council to reconvene
immediately as a Council for the Regular Meeting of December 9,
1959 at the Mound Fire Station.

at 7:30 P.M. at the Mound Fire Station.
Present were: Mayor Larson, Trustees Gulden, Batdorf and Petersen;
Attorney Ploetz and Manager Boxell.
The Minutes of the November 10, 1959 regular meeting were read.
Petersen moved and Gulden seconded a motion to accept the minutes
of the November 10, 1959 regular meeting as read. The vote was
unanimously in favor. So carried and accepted.
