Present: Mayor i~arson, Trustees Pfeifer, Koehn, Heikkila, Batdorf, Ray Ploetz, Mr. Kopp.
Hearing for Special Use Permit
The attorney stated that the publication was mafficient and legal.
Appearing were Herbert ~olner, the petitioner; Mr. Harry Brook8 of Standard Oil
Co. mppeared to support the petition.
No oppenent8 appeared upon the call of the Mayor for any such persons.
The Village Engineer was asked to review the plans for the station in view of a
possible traffic problem. The hear~ing wa~ continued until December 10, 1963 ~t
8:00 P.M. at the Mound Fire ~tation by executive order.

Dick Vogel, C. C. Dunna~an and Mr. Rothchild as proponents. Appearing as oppenents
were Mrs. ~arlin ~ee, Ruth Noon and ~. E. Brophey.
Mr Brophey stated that he was opposed to anything but single family dwelling on lake
s~ore property.
The Councll was polled about the type of ~tt~,~l~e Dwelling to be considered - District
~ was selected by an unanimou~ pill of the council.

AM ORDINAMCE AMENDING CHAPTER g$, MOIJND
CODE OF ORDI~dq~S, ENTITLED "ZONING"
THE VILI~GE COUNCIL OF MOUND, MIIfI~80TA, ORDAINS:
That Chapter 23, Mound Code of Ordinances, entitled
"Zoning" be, and hereby is, amended by deleting from
the provision of Section ~-3.011, establishing Resi-
dential Use District A-I, and from Section 23.012,
establishing Residential Use District A-2, and by
adding to Section ~3.14, establishing ltultiple Dwel-
ling Use District "C", the following described tracts,
to-wit:
Lots 5 to 13, inclusive, Phelp's Island Park,
1st Division and Lot 77 and that part of Lot
"B" lying SWly of the NEly line of Lot 5 in
Phelp's Island Park, 1st Division if extendmd
to the l?Wly line of said Lot "B" 1st Rearrange-
ment of Phelp's Island Park, 1st Division,
and
Lot Seventy-four (74) in the First Rearrange-
ment of Phelp'~ Island Park, First Division
according to the plat thereof on file and of
r~cord in the office of the Register of Deeds
in and for said Rennepin County. Also the
following tract of land in Section Nineteen
(19) Township One Hundred Seventeen (117)
North Range Twenty-three (~3) West described
as follows, to-wit: Commencing at the extreme
