The attorney declared the publication and mailing to be legal and sufficient.
The engineer outlined the project and read the assessment roll.
The mayor called for questions from the audience, there were none.

SEWER AND WATER BIDS - 3rd Phase
The atttorney declared the publications to be legal and sufficient. The engineer
presented the bids and recommended they be accepted and that No~l~ern Contracting
b~iawarded ~he contract.

BE IT MOVED, the bids be accepted and tabled for future consideration.

PLANNING CONMISSION RECOMMENDATIONS
Jim Nelson appeared in support of his request to install covered boat slips. He
stated that they did not intend to rent this slips to the public but they would be
available to the tenants of the apartments as this would be covered by the zoning
of the area to Multiple Dwelling, only.
Batdorf moved and Heikkila seconded a motion
BE IT MOYED the Village Council accept the recommendation of the Planning Commission
and allow the installation of the covered boat slips.
The vote was unanimously in favor~ so carried.
VACATION OF HICKORY PLACE
The Planning Commission did not recommend this vacation.

FIRE CONTRACT MINNETRISTA-MOUND
Appeared were Minnetrista Council - Mayor Ebert~ Councilmen Robert Fillmore, Paul
Mader and Pete Sorensen, Clerk Germain Boll. Note: Mr. Sorensen came at the close
of the discussion and did not enter into it.
The area that the fire department would cover was outlined and while a bit larger
then at first requested,Mayer E.~ertsaid that a little more or less would not be
any block but would require a conference with the Village of Maple Plain. The
Minnetrista council expressed a desire to be informed on a monthly basis of the
fires in their area so they might promptly bill the fire.
A meeting was set for 8:30 P.M. at the Mound Fire Hall to meet with the Minnetrista
Council to discuss the problem of sewer and water for the proposed school.
