Koe~m, Trustees Gordon ~tdorf, Del Pfeifer, LeRoy Heikkila~ William Johnson; Manager Leonard L. Kopp and Attorney R~y Ploetz and Engineer William Schoell. AVON PARK HEARING The attorney declared the publication and mailing to be legal and sufficient. The engineer outlined the project and read the assessment roll. The mayor called for questions from the audience, there were none. Heikkila moved and Batdorf seconded a motion to accept the minutes of the December 10~ 1963 meeting as read. The vote was unanimously in favor so carried and accepted. The minutes of the December 30, 1963 meeting were read. Batdorf moved and Heikkila seconded a motion to accept the minutes of the December 30, 1963 meeting as read. The vote was unanimously in favor, so carriedand accepted. The minutes of the January 7, 1964 meeting were read. Pfeifer moved and Heikki~a seconded a motion to accept the minutes of the January 7, 1964 meeting as read. ~he wote was unanimously in favor so carried and accepted. SEWER AND WATER BIDS - 3rd Phase The atttorney declared the publications to be legal and sufficient. The engineer presented the bids and recommended they be accepted and that No~l~ern Contracting b~iawarded ~he contract. Pfeifer movedand Heikkila seconded a motion BE IT MOVED, the bids be accepted and tabled for future consideration. ~he vote was unanimously in favor so carried and accepted. PLANNING CONMISSION RECOMMENDATIONS Jim Nelson appeared in support of his request to install covered boat slips. He stated that they did not intend to rent this slips to the public but they would be available to the tenants of the apartments as this would be covered by the zoning of the area to Multiple Dwelling, only. Batdorf moved and Heikkila seconded a motion BE IT MOYED the Village Council accept the recommendation of the Planning Commission and allow the installation of the covered boat slips. The vote was unanimously in favor~ so carried. VACATION OF HICKORY PLACE The Planning Commission did not recommend this vacation. Heikkila moved and Pfeifer seconded a motion RESOLUTION 63-24 RESOLUTION ORDERING HEARING, PUBLICATION AND POSTING AND PROPOSED VACATION OF STREET (Hickory Place) Roll Call Vote Batdorf Aye Pfeifer Aye Heikkila Aye Johnson Aye Koehn Aye So carried and resolved. SUBDIVIDE LOTS Fred Olson request a variance of lot size requirement. Pfeifer moved and Johnson seconded a motion BE IT MOVED, that Fred Olson be allowed to subdivide Lots ~10, ~[~2~d11~ Blenk 6 Arden into 3 lo~¥ as in accordance with the plat on ~ile in the Mound Village Office. The vote was unanimously in favor so carried. BAYVIEW BLVD. Aye So carried and resolved ISSUING BONDS FOR 3rd PHASE OF SEWER Heikkila moved and Batdorf seconded a motion RESOLUTION 64-26 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF $2, 260,000 TEFLPORARY i~PROVEMENT BONDS OF 1964 Roll Call Vote Batdorf ~ye Pfeifer Aye Heikkila Aye Johnson Aye Koehn Aye So carried and resolved FIRE CONTRACT MINNETRISTA-MOUND Appeared were Minnetrista Council - Mayor Ebert~ Councilmen Robert Fillmore, Paul Mader and Pete Sorensen, Clerk Germain Boll. Note: Mr. Sorensen came at the close of the discussion and did not enter into it. The area that the fire department would cover was outlined and while a bit larger then at first requested,Mayer E.~ertsaid that a little more or less would not be any block but would require a conference with the Village of Maple Plain. The Minnetrista council expressed a desire to be informed on a monthly basis of the fires in their area so they might promptly bill the fire. A meeting was set for 8:30 P.M. at the Mound Fire Hall to meet with the Minnetrista Council to discuss the problem of sewer and water for the proposed school.
