SEWER CONNECTIONS
The Village Council hereby gives the Manager the authority to authorize sewer
connect-ups on an emergency basis, using only cast iron pipe until ordinance
is passed.
OUTSIDE WATER METER PgADING DEVICE
This was discussed and the cost - $15.00 - was proposed to be split with the home
owner paying $10.OO and the Village $5.00. The Couucil by poll vote gave
tentative approval to the plan.
LAKE NUISANCES - the matter of debris left on the lake and lake shore was discussed.
The matter was referred to the Attorney with possibim changes in Chap. 47
MACHINE BOOKKEEPING AND BILLING
Ivan Imm presented the council with a proposal for the use of m~chine bookkeeping
and billing for the use of the village. The outline was ~iven in detail. The
~lta~galcouncil gave approval to the proposed purchaee of a used bookkeeping
m~chine and a new billing machine.
BINGO REQUEST
A request was received from the Three Points Playground Association to hold a Bingo
on March 22~. at the annual picnic in July,~ November 22 and December 13, 196~.
No action was taken
HENNEPIN COUNTY LEAGUE - Sunday Closing was discussed, the Council felt their
representative should abstain in the up-co,ming vote on Sunday closing.
SEWER ORDINANCE
The Village Council directs the manager to draw up a tentative sewer ordinance.
Heikkila moved and Johnson seconded a motion to adjourn until the regular meeting
of M~rch 10, 196~ at 8:00 P.M. at the Fire Station. The vote was unanimously in
favor so carried and adjourned.

Heikkila moved, Johnson seconded, and it was unanimously carried to place ore
street light at Kildare La~e ~,: Queen's Place, to place a "dead end" barrier at
the end of Kildare Lane e~st of q~een's Place, an4 to upgrade the light at the
northerly end of Ashland I,ane from 2,,~O0 to 6,000.
COUNTY HUNtC!PAL COURT
Mr. Kopp reported that he had received a list of space requirements from the
~{ennepin Connty Muni cipal Court. The Council directed the Mana;.~.er to report
back i.o them what we have to offer.
BURNIYG CONDE}e~ED hOUo~o Lots 3 ~ . Block 1[, Devon
The Village of Mound has received permission from the Land Co~nnissioner of
Hennepin County to burn and remove the debris of two condemned buildings on
tax forfeit Lots 3 & 4, Block 1~, Devon. Heikkils moved and Johnson seconded
the motion to have -the V~llage Manager order the burning or -tearing down of
these two condemned ho~ses. The ,,rote was unanimously in favor; so carried.

Inasmuch as there is no longer any need for a safety deposit box at the State
B~nk of Mound, hemkkmla moved., Johnson seconded, and it was unanimously carried
