AN O~DI~ AMENDING CHAPTER 23, OF
CODE OF ORDINANCES, ENTI~.,ED 'ZO~"
THE VIIAAG COUNCIL OF MOUND, MIh E , ORDAINS:
That Chapter 23, of the Mound Code of Ordinances,
entitled "Zoning" be, and hereby is, amended by
amending Se:tion 23.15, subd. 4, thereof to read
as follows, to-wit:
"Section 23.15 .C. oaaercial Use District Conforming
Uses. ' .....
4. Furniture repairing or upholstery shops, carpenter,
electrical, metal working, tinsmithing, plumbing, paint
or paper hanging shops, wa~'~.,, ja,;, or steam fitting
shops, gasoline retail fillxng station and automobile
service stations, ice cream, and soft drink stands or
shop~; restaurants (curb, drive-in or other~), places
of a~usement, drive-in theater~, wholesale establish-
cents, mortuario~ and funeral homes; and vehicle
parking without reference to the land use cln~ifica-
tion of the source of said vehicles. Provided, however,
that no authorization shall be deemed granted for any
business or use mentioned in this p~ragraph u~ttl the
Village Council shall order the issuance of a special
pemit for the same after a public hearing on an
application held pursuant to ten days' notice of
hearing published once in the official new~paper."
That this ordinance shall be effectiv,~ from and after
its adoption and publication according to law.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 60, MOUND CODE OF
ORDINANCES, ENTITLED "NUISANCES"
THE VILIAGE COUNCIL OF MOUND, MINNESOTA; ORDAINS:
That Chapter 60, Mound Code of Ordinances entitled
"Nuisances", be, and hereby is, amended by a~ding
to the provisions of Section 60.02 thereof subdi-
vision "11" as follows, to-wit:
"Section 60.02
11. All dead standing trees which present a
hazard to life or property, all elm or other
trees found harboring the ?.~.~c1~ ,lm beetle,
all dead standing elm wood, all cut wood found
harboring Dutch elm beetle, and all cut elm
wood."
That this ordinance be effective from and after its
adoption and publication according to law.
Adopted this 21st day of April, 1964.

The council said to send the men to school and when the convention expenses come in
