1964-08-11MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF AUGUST 11, 1964 at the MOUND FIRE STATION Present were: Mayor R. C. Koehn, Trustees LeRoy Heikkila, William N. Johnson Attorney Ray Ploetz and Manager Leonard L. Kopp, Engineer Wm. Mc Combs Mayor Staley Olson of Richfield gave a brief talk on the League of Minnesota Municipalities paying tribute to Mound officals. The minutes of the meeting of July 14, 1964 were read. Heikkila moved and Johnson seconded a motion to accept the minutes of July 14, 1964 as read. The vote was unanimously in favor so carried. The minutes of the meeting of July 21, 1964 were read. Johnson moved and Heikkila seconded a motion to accept the minutes of the July 21, 1964 meeting as read. The vote was unanimously in favor. Heikkila moved and Johnson seconded the motion BE IT MOVED, that Cavan Lane between Shannon Road and Excelsior Road be and hereby is designated a 'No Parking Zone' The vote was unanimously in favor. SEWER SERICE FOR Elwin Oveson was discussed FLAG POLE - at Sewer Plant was discussed CLOSE STREET Johnson moved and Heikkila seconded :a.-~motion BE IT MOVED, that the Service Road between Fairfax Lane and Wythe Lane be closed for reasons of traffic safety - very steep hill. E. Brophey appeared as the attorney for Charles Hartman and stated the delay in the bond of Arneson Plumbing Company under whose authority Charles Hartman operates was with the bonding company and he would get things going and the bond into the hands of the village office.
