1964-08-25MINUTES OF ADJOURNED MEETING OF AUGUST 25, 1964, 8:00 P.M. at the Mound Fire Station Present were: Trustees Pfeifer, Johnson and Heikkila, Attorney Ploetz and Village Manager Kopp. Heikkila moved and Johnson seconded a motion that Del Pfeifer be Acting Mayor for this meeting. VACATION OF RAMSEY LANE Heikkila moved and Johnson seconded that the hearing on vacation of Ramsey Lane be continued to next week. Motion carried. WATER CONNECTICN APPLICATION REFUND (Frank Reinin) Johnson moved, Heikkila seconded the motion. RESOLUTION 64-201 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING REFUND OF WATER CO~NNECTION CHARGE Roll Call Vote: Johnson Aye Heikkila Aye Pfeifer Aye So carried and resolved. OPENING OF EXCELSIOR ROAD Petition for the opening of Excelsior Road from ~125 to Cavan Lane was presented by Walter Burandt. Because the petition did not have the proper qualification, the signatures of 55% of the abutting property owners, the council took no action other than to refer Mr. Burandt to the Planning Commission. AL OVESON A1 0veson appeared and was satisfied his sewer problem was resolved. GAS MAIN ON FAIRVIEA~ DRIVE AND MAYWOOD DRIVE Heikkila moved, Johnson seconded the motion. RESOLUTION 64-202 RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION FOR CERTAIN GAS M~IN (F~irview Drive and Maywood Drive) Roll Call Vote: Johnson Aye Heikkila Aye Pfeifer Aye So carried and resolved. CHANGE IN SEWER PLANS Tabled until next week. ELECTION OFFICIALS (September 8, 1964) Heikkila moved, Johnson seconded the motion. RATIFICATION OF BILLS PAID RESOLUTION 64-204 RESOLUTION RATIFYING TRANSFER OF FUNE6 AND BILLS PAID ON AUGUST 18, 1964. Roll Call Vote: Johnson Aye Heikkila Aye Pfeifer Aye So carried and resolved. BILLS The following bill was presented for payment: Swanson Excavating $37,467 · 84 Heikkila moved, Johnson seconded, and it was carried to pay the bill where funds are available. CLOSING OF LIQUOR STORES ON LABOR DAY In conformity with past practices and no objections be raised, the Liquor Stores and Lounge will be closed on Labor Day.
