Koehn, Trustees Heikkila, William Johnson, Del Pfeifer, Gordon Batdorf; Attorney Ray Ploetz, Manager Leonard Kopp, Engineers William Schoell and William McCombs HEARING - RAMSEY LANE F~eifer moved and Johnson seconded the motion RESOLUTION 64-205 RESOLUTION VACATING PART (Ramsey Lane) Roll Call Vote Pfeifer Aye Johns on Aye Heikkila Aye Batdorf Aye Koehn Aye So carried and approved OF STREET PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATIONS Pfeifer moved and Johnson seconded the motion BE IT MOVED, that a variance in the Building Code be allowed for Lowell Kryck- Lot 30 Mound Shores and Ruby Melius - Lots 6 & 7 Block 14 Dreamwood, in the use of 1-11 plywood as structural material. The vote was unanimously in favor, so carried Heikkila moved and Batdorf seconded the motion BE IT MOVED, that Everett Byrd- Lots 8, 9, 10 and Block 5, Shadywood Pt be split into two building sites allowing the variance of the 10,000 sq. ft. zoning. The vote was unanimously in favor so carried and approved Pfeifer moved and Johnson seconded the motion BE IT MOVED, that Cliff Sherman - Lots 7, 8 Block 34, Wychwood, be allowed a variance to build a garage 10 feet from the lot line. The vote was unanimously in favor so carried. STATEMENT ON BATTERY Mr. James Bernhagen appeared before the council, and admitted his employees were wrong in their estimate and in the later handling of the purchase order for a battery, and plead for an additional $3.95 for the battery. Heikkila moved and Pfeifer seconded the motion BE IT MOVED, the additional $3.95 for Minnetonka Auto Supply be included in the bills for September. The vote was unanimously in favor, so carried. R'EFUND OF BLIILDIN~ /~E~M/~ FEE Batdorf moved and ?feifer seconded a motion RESOLUTION 64-206 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING REFUND OF BUILDING PERMIT FEE Roll Call Vote Heikkila Aye Batdorf Aye Johns on Aye Pfeifer Aye Koehn So carried and approved Aye FIREMEN CONVENTION Batdorf moved ,~nd l~feifer seconded the motion RESOLUTION 64-207 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING REIMBURSEMENT (Firemen's Convention Expenses ) Roll Call Vote Batdorf Aye Heikkila Aye Johns on Aye Pfeifer Aye Koehn Aye So carried and approved TRADE VILLAGE PROPERTY Heikkila moved and Batdorf seconded the motion RESOLUTION 64-208 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING BARTER OF POLICE EQUIPMENT Roll Call Vote Batdorf Aye Pfeifer Aye Johns on Aye Heikkila Aye Ko ehn Aye So carried and resolved LOWER ROAD Don Poteete and Dave Lippert appeared before the council and requested that Shorewood Drive be lowered and the traveled portion be centered. The council directed the Engineer to prepare a Change Order. BILLS The following bills were presented for payment T. & A. General- PERA 966.21 T. & A. Fire ~rruck - Water Fund 1, 176.92 Batdorf moved and Johnson seconded a motion to pay the bills where funds are available. The vote was unanimously in favor, so carried PUMP AT SEWER PLANT - discussed ( Engineer Wm. Schoell said that one was not necessary) DUMP CLOSING - Discussed CROSSINGGUAKD FOR SCHOOL CROSSING Batdorf moved and Johnson seconded a motion. BE IT MOVED, a woman be hired to act as Crossing Guard at the sum of $2.00 per hour. The vote was unanimously in favor, so carried. LIQUOR STORE COOLER Additional expense will be incurred by placing the cooler on the roof but it is thought to be better. The Engineer was directed to prepare a Change Order.
