Attorney Ploetz stated the notices met the legal requirements. E~gineer Leer
outlined the project and the assessment formula. John Hurley, Lot 8 Block ll
asked about the miminum footage charges, attorney answered that this was the same
formula applied to other projects based on benefit.

SUIT BY WESTINGHOUSE - Steenberg and Bates
The attorney told the council of a request of Westinghouse to join with them in
a suit involving the electrical work on the Sewer Plant, and stated the village
would be in a better position if we answere~ indepently. The mayor after consulting
with the council directed the attorney to file separately and indenpently from
Westinghouse.

WATER TESTLNG FEES - discussed and it was decided the same charge be made to the
School District 277 for routine water testing as charged to the Village of Spring
Park - $1.50 per test

January 25, 1966 at 8:00 P.M. at the Mound Fire Station. The vote was unanimously
in favor, so carried and adjourned.
