ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 28, "BUILDING
CODE", OF THE MOUND CODE OF ORDINANCES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF MOUND, MINNESOTAs
1. That Chapter 26 of the ~bm~d Code of Ordinances, entitled
"Building Code", be, and hereby is, amended by amending Section 26.61
thereof to read as follows, to wit:
Section 26~61 State ~ster Plumber's License,
~egistration~ Fee and Bond. Each person, finn
or corporation doing plumbing or sewage instal-
lation, repair or connection for hire within
this Village, shall have a current license as
~ster Plumber from the State of ~nneso~a, and
shall first app%v to the Village for the registra-
tion with the Village of Such license, and shall
pay the following registration fee and shall file
with the Village Clerk the following bond, in-
surance, and other requirements:
The fse for such registration shall
be $15.00 per year and each registra-
tion shall terminate on January l,
next, after issuance. Registration
shall not be transferable. Where the
term of the registration is less than
a year, the fee shall be prorated
with a minimum fee of $5.00.
The applicant for registration shall
file bond in the amount of $10,000.00
in favor of the Village of ~bund and
of the public in the form prescribed
by the Village, conditioned upon the
faithful performance of his work under
such license and registration And~c~n-
ditioned upon his compliance with
these ordinances, and further con-
ditioned that the Village will be
saved harmless from any loss, damage,
cost or expense, by reason of improper
or inadequate performance for~non-
compliance with the terms of this
ordinance by the registrant or his
agents or employees.

The applicanb for registration shall
also f%le a certificate of insurance
or copies of public liability and
property da~ge insurance policies
approved by the Village Council con-
taining a pro~r'±sion that they shall
not be cancelled without l0 days written
notice to the Village Clerk, showing
coverage of not less than $50,000.00
for injuries, including accidental death
to any one person and subject to the same
limits for each person in the amount of
not less than $100,000.00 on account of
a~v one accident, and property damage
insurance in the amount of not less than
$25,000.00.
