Walter Hellsnd, Vern Peterson and Walter Nelson came as spokes- the project. Enginee~ Mills reported to the council that the County told him they planned to close the 8et6n Bridge and construct a 42 foot side bridge in its stead; no by-pass was planned. They w~ll place a 42 ?oot opening on Hidden Vale to allow for correct placement of road, at no cost to the Village. On the apartment site on Wilshire and Tuxedo they have requested a storm sewer on private property that will be directed into the County Storm Sewer. Swenson moved and Andreasen seconded a motion BE IT MOVED, by the Village Council of the Village of Mound that the staff be directed to inform the County that the Mound Council is opposed to the closing of the Seton bidge without a by-pass being constructed to a/low at least one lane of traffic to pass. The vote was unanimously in favor, so carried. VACATION OF RESTHAVEN AND WILDHURST HEARING The Engineer recommends vacation for the purpose of traffic, but warns that no vacation can be made if public utilities are now on or under the ~treet in question.~ Mr. and Mrs Roberts appeared in support of petition to vacate, Mrs Erps wnted to know who would pay for the up-dating of a torrens title to include such vacated road and how much land would she gain? The attorney said it would not have to be added to torrens title and the actual amount of land was not certain. The attor ney also stated the County would not change any maps without a detailed survey. Andreasen moved and Schmidt seconded the motion BE IT MOVED, by the Village Council of the Village of Mound that the matter of the vacation of Wildhurst and Resthaven be continuted until the meeting of September loth, 1969. The vote was unanimously in favor, so carried.
