Dear Leonard:
A
As requested by you, we have updated our cost estimates
for the surveying of the boundaries of the Brighton, Wiota,
and Kenmare Commons.
Our fee for these services are as follows:
Brighton Commons $2,000.00
Wiota Commons $1,400.00
Kenmare Commons $1,000.00
This would include setting iron monuments at the angle
points along the boundaries and a certificate of survey showing
the existing conditions such as encroachments onto the commons
by buildings or fences.
If you have any questions, please give me a call.
Very truly yours,
MCCOMBS-KNUTSON ASSOCIATES, INC.

SUBJECT: Bonus Funds for
Site Write-downs
INDIAN BURIAL MOUNDS
TELEPHONE

3 Jan 1977
Metro Council is expecting a bonus of t $250,000 from H.U.D.
for the purpose of assisting communities in constructing new
rent -subsidized housing in the 3-4 bedroom sizes.
Metro intends for the city to use the money to (1) acquire land,
(2) prepare the site if necessary, and (3) sell it as a "write-
down" for $1.00 to a developer to build 3-4 bedroom housing
that will be in the rent -subsidy program.
At present the City of Mound does not have a plan to assist
in housing construction for subsidy programs. Some developers
have expressed an intrest in such a plan, and three lots have
been identified as candidates for this program.
It is suggested that the City apply for funds based on these
three lots and see if we get any. If so, then formalize a
plan for housing.
