Pursuant to and in accordance with Cha~%r 68, H. F. ~o. 785, Session
Laws of Minnesota for 1937, an act optionally for the governance of
villages and towns of given classification ~d the merging of the offices
and powers of Chief of Police with those of President, be it ordained, a~d
it is hereby enacted, that the Village of Island Park c~nbine the offices
of the Chief of Police with that of the President, and that the President of
Island Park shall also be the Chief of Police of Island Park and perform all
the duties by law conferred upon the Chief of Police of Island Park for the
preservation of the public peace.
This act shall become law upon passage by the Island Park Village Council
after publication at least once in a local newspaper.
