BUSSINESS OF THE NEW COUNCIL.
Moved by Mc Walters 2nd by Lindholm to appoint. A. L. Casey to fill the
unexpired term of Huettl as Village Clerk. Motion Carried.
Moved by Huettl 2nd by Iverson that the State Bank of Mound be designated
as the depository of village funds of Island Park Hennepin County Minn.
Funds up to $.500.00' dollars and that the Federal Deposit Insurance of 5.000
dollars for each depositor be accepted as sufficient collateral for such funds.

visor for the 7ear of 1942. Motion Carried.

to be paid by village. Carried.
Moved by Iverson 2nd b7 Lindholm to accept Grays Bc~d subject to witness
signature. Carried.
Moved by Iverson 2nd by Lindholm that the Village Pa7 ~ of the phone rental
and all of the approved toll calls in transacting village bussiness. The phones
of Roy Rogers and J. W. ~ray village constables. Motion Carried.
Moved by Iverson and 2nd by Mc Walters to accept the bond of ~eo H. Niles
as Justice of the Peace. Motion Carried.
Moved by Lindholm 2nd by Iverson to set aside the sum of 125,00 dollars for
fire fiEhting purposes for the year 1942. Motion Carried,

for cigarrettee licenses and issue licenses to the following persons for

village clerks supplies and treasurers book. Motion Carried.
Moved by Lindholm ~nd by Mc Walters t° grant the use of the village hall
to the Island Park Civic Club for the purpose of a benefit box social
the proceeds of which is to go to the American Red Cross. Carried.
