Moved by Lindholm and 3nd by Judd, that the State Bank of Mound, Minn. be
designated as depository of Village Funds of Island Park, Harm. County
M~__~. of funds up to $8500.00 and that the Federal Deposit Insurance of
$5000.00 for each depositor be accepted as sufficient collateral for
such .funds. Carried.
Moved by Judd and 3nd by Lindholn, that Mayor Ratts be appointed Chief
of Police for 1945. Carried.
Moved by Raits and 2nd by Judd that C. E. Lindholu continue as contest
man on relief cases. Carried.
Moved by Judd and 3nd by Lindhoh; that Dr. Seifert; Axcelsior, Minn.
be appointed Village Health Officer for 1945. Carried.
Moved by Judd and 3nd by Lindholm, that t~e Clerk's and Treas. salary
for the year 1945 be the same as 1~44. Carried.
Moved by Judd and 3nd by Lind~olm, that Mayor Rait~ see that cable on
Public Lane to the Lake at Pembroke be removed. 0arried.
Trustee- Thcs Judd presented the following resolution-
Vhereas, the Vllage Council of the ~illage o! Ieland park, ltenn. County
Minnesota, has received fr~n the Land Coumissioner a list of land in the
Village of Isl&ud Park, whic~ has ~ocone the e beolute property of the State
Of Minnesota under the provisions of the laws declaring the forfeiture of
leads to the State for non-payment of taxes, which land ia described in
List 119-C, December 18, 1944.'and
Vhereas this land has been classified by the County Board as non-
conservation and for sale,
Vhereas the council has made a couplet examination of all facts and
Circumstances relating to suc~ parcels.
Iow therefore, acting puruand to said Section 1, Chapter 386, as amended
Be it resolved, that t~e Village Council of the Village of Island Park,
oppress the classification of said County Board of 8aid lands as non-
conservation and for gale.
