1947-03-24llZ-1 March 24th 1947 Special Meeting call by Mayor Raitz on the question of annexation of land to Zhe Village of Island Park. Members present Korman,Swenson and Judd. A portion was read for a parcel of land to be annexed to ~he Village. Mr Judd then moved the following resolution be adopted. That the Village of Island Park accept a petition signed by a malority of land owners to be ann- exed to said Village of Island Park.That Zhe Village of Island P&rk pass a ordinance on annexation. The Clerk prepare ~he ordinance and file with the Register 9f Deeds of Hennepin County, and enter in the Village 9r~inance book. ~econded by Kon~an. The vote being four Yes and no Nays. Ordinance ~16 annexing land to the Village of Island Park. The Village Council of the Village of Island Fark do ordain as followsl Section ~1. That the following described platted land in the county of Hennepin and State of Minnesota abutting upon the Village of Island Park, to -wit; Ail that p~rt of Government Lot five (5) in Section Twenty-four (~4), Township One Hundred Seventeen (117) Range Twenty-four (~4) West of the 5th principal meridia~ and of Government Lot Three (~) in Section Nineteen (19), Township One Hundred Se~en~een (117) North, H~nge Twenty three (2S) West of the 5th principal meridian by the plat of Seton, as more particularly appears from said plat ~n file and of record in the office of the Hegister of Deed in and for sai~ County and State, be and the same are hereby annexed to such Village as effectually as if they had been originally a part thereof.
