The City Council of the City of Mound, Hennepin County, Minnesota, met in regular session on
Tuesday, March 17, 1998, at 7:15 p.m., in the Council Chambers at 5341 Maywood Road, in said
City.
Those present were:
Acting Mayor Andrea Ahrens, Councilmembers Mark Hanus, Liz Jensen and
Leah Weycker. Mayor Bob Polston was absent and excused. Also in
attendance were: City Manager Edward J. Shukle, Jr.
The Acting Mayor opened the meeting.
The City Manager explained the reason for the special meeting. He indicated that there were two
items for review and consideration: 1) Approval of a resolution regarding the request of variances
for the Roundabout as part of the Auditor's Road Improvement Project and 2) Approval of the
payment of bills.
Resolution Regarding Auditor's Road
The City Manager provided the background on this matter. He indicated that in order to complete
the Roundabout aspect of the Auditor's Road Improvement Project, variances were needed for the
proposed diagonal parking spaces and the Roundabout itself.

Jensen, Weycker, unanimously.
MOTION made by Jensen, seconded by Weycker to adjourn at 7:30 p.m. The vote was
unanimously in favor. Motion carried.
