A Special Meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Mound
County of Hennepin, State of ~innesota, was oalled to order by President
i J. Co Erause at 9:~0 P. M. January 19th, 1926.
Members present were President J. ¢. Krr. uae, ?~% H. A. Eoehler, Ira Ce
Peterson, F. Ycst, and L.A. Eoehler.
A Motion was made by ~;. II. A. ~oehler and Seconded by Ira C.
that the £ollowing Resolution be passed~

Be it ,~a,olved by the Village Council of the Village of Mound and State
~f Minnesota ~n January lOth, 1,q~6, That Wheras the traf£ie en the
narrow street north of the Railroad £rom Seton to Mound, is oontinnuall~
crowing heavier and more dangerous each year, it ha~ become Expedient
and necessary to open a wider ~ straight read nearly parr~llilling
the south side of said Railroad from Seton to Mound.
~ IT FUi~Ti~R RESOLVED that inasmuch as most of the tra££io on said
street will be thr&ugh trei'£i~ which should be taken care of by the lon~
more round,bout P~ute over the p~-esent County Roads and inasmuch as,
the finannoes of the Village 9f M~ound is not such as to permit said
Village to open said street without outside assist~noe; g~ IT R~SOEVED
BY TH~, VILLgGE CO~iJCIL OE Ti~ VILLAGE OF MOUND that the County Commiaionera
of i~nnepim County be asked to join said Village in sharing the expense
~f opening said street which the County SUrVeyor estimates at
plus about SS~O00.O0 f~r gravelling.
BE IT ~ ~ ,~,~ R~SOEVE9 that the Village CounOil of tho Village of Moun~.
h~reby agrees to do all gravelling on said ~...,po~ed street and pay
one-third o£ the cost of all gradt_-4~, not to exoeed $~,000.00 providing
the County of Hennepin State of Minnesota pays the balAnoe ef said cost
of grading,

the Village w~ ~ee to build and g~vel said road providing the
County of Henn~i~, State of Minnesota will make a straight donation of
$8,000.00 to the Village of Moumi for such d~nation.
