1975-02-18MINUTES OF THE MEETING MEETING OF FEBRUARY 18, 1975 AT THE SHIRLEY HILLS SCHOOL LITTLE THF~TPd~j MOUN~ I~NF~fA Present were: Mayor Donald Ulrick, Councilmen Tim Lovaasen, Gordon Swenson, Frank Philbrook. and Orval Fenstad; City Manager Leonard L. Kopp and Park Commission m~mbers: Alan Greene, Chairman; Ken Plant, A1Fratzke, Pat Shay, Loraine Jackson, Ed Buhr, Cathy Bailey and Diane Arneson. The Mayor called the meeting to order and greeted the citizens present. He then introduced Alan Greene who with the assistance of Ken Plant illustrated a portion the Dock Map and the criteria for the layout and location o£ docks.. The Mayor read thru the proposed dock ordinance section by section; explaining certain sections. Asking questions and-making suggestions were: Mrs David Stuth Mr Klein Bernard Benz - hTO1 Island View Jerry Rockvam Bill Howell - 1562 Dove Lane Mrs Richard Meyer - ~731 Carlow Road Robert Chase- ~873 Island View Steve Erickson Bette Chapman - ~99~ Manchester Mr McMillian Anthony Soderman - h767 Island View James Zuhlke - ~805 Island View Don Chzmberlin - hS~l Island View Audrey Nelson Ralph Ro§ers Willard Hillier - 1551 Canary Lane Mr Benson Mr Barrett Terry Christian - ~673 Island View Mr Olson Mr Zulke commended the council and the City Council and the Park Commission for their diligence on this problam of docks on Commons and other public lands. The Mayor ended the hearing of the proposed Dock Ordinance by commending the Park Commission for their many hours of work on this ordinance. The council wants the word 'private' inserted for docks, add 'boathouses' to 26.9306 and conditions for rubber tires used for boat bumpers incorporated into the proposed ordinance. SNOWPLOW-TRUCKPURCI~E Fenstad moved and Philbrook seconded a motion RESOLUTION 75-73 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL PAYMENT FOR THE NlM TRUCK AND SNOWPLCW The vote was unanimously in favor ISLAND PARK HALL REMODELING Swenson moved and Fenstad seconded a motion 20. Winter Storage on the Commons Swenson moved and Philbrook seconded a motion to adjourn until the meeting of February 2~, 197~ at 7:30 P.M. at the Mound City Offices.
