We would like the City Council and the Planning Commission to discuss and study our recommendation and either adopt this theme (market position) or suggest an alternative. We believe that the adoption of this theme trades on: trends which indicate a gradual urbanization of Mound, which will lead to a change in the demographics of its residents. the absence of a strong cultural-recreational destination west of the Twin Cities. the strengths of Mound which are its rural beauty and its lakes."
