Vacate Certain
M°und. Streets
TO: The Village Council of the Vil-
lage of Mound, Lake Minnetonka,
Minnesota.
The persons whose names are un-
dersigned, respectfully petition your
honorable body and show, as follows:
1. That they are a majority of the
owners of the property on the
line of certain streets in the
Village of Mound,namely: Pea-
body Avenue, .Crocker Avenue,
Chipman Avenue and Shady
Lane, adjacent to Blocks, One,
Two, Three and Four, Lake Side
Park, A. L. Crocker's First Di-
vision, Mound, ,Minnetonka.
2. That they desire that said
streets be vacated. That all o~
said streets have been surveyed
and laid out but that they are
largely unimproved. That Pea-
body Avenue and Shady Lane
are entirely unimproved and
that all of 'Crocker Avenue West
of Lot 10, Block 2, is unimprov-
ed and all of .Chipman Avenue
W~st of Lot 44, Block 2, That
as said streets are at present
laid out they do not conform to
the contour of the land but are
laid out in straight lines over
elevations 'and across meadow
. and marsh, so that the part of
the land adapted for buiIding
purposes is not utilized to the
best advantage, That Lake
Side Park Association, a corpor-

on the 2Zrd day of January, 19Z1, together with notice of hearin~ of
said. petition on the ~. day of February, 1931, and three copies of
said petition and notice,~of hearin~ having been posted more than one
