Pursuant to due call and not!ce thereof a ~peclal meeting of
~he Village Council of the Village of Mound, Hennepin County, Minnesot&
was duly held at the Ooun~il ~oom in the ~aeement o~ the State ~nk
of Mound in said VillaEe on April llth, 1~4, at 8 o'clock P. M.
The followtng~membere were ~resent: President J. ~. ~r&use,
Trustees V. Yost, ~. ~. Broe~kert, O. L. Tuff, H. !. Horton,
and the following were absent: none.
Member F. Yost introduced the ~ollowing resolution and moved its
adoption.
A RESOLUTION LEVYING A T~X FOB PAYMENT
OF ~20,000 ~ATEPWO~$ BONDS IN OOMPLIANOE
WITH CHAPTE~ 151 LAWS OF 1927
~E IT I~E$OLVED by the Village Council, Village of Mound, Minnesota
as follows:
1. In order to provide money *or the payment of ~0,000 ~aterw
wor~s ~onds dated ~/ar~h 1, 19~4, in compliance with
Laws of 1927, there shall be, ~nd is hereby, levied upon all o~ the~
taxable property in said Village a direct annual irrepealable ad
valorem tax in the years and amounts as follows:

2. Said levies shall be e~tended at the s~me time'and in the
aame manner as other general taxes in said Village and the proceeds
thereof shall be deposited in a fund which is hereby created to be
known as Interest and ~ond ~etirement Fund o~ ~20,000 Waterworks
Bonds of March 1, 19~4, and shall be used for no other purpose than
to pay the principal and interest on said bonds when and as the a~me
sa11 due. There shall be paid into said fund, in addition to the
taxee,heretnabove provided, any proceeds received from the sale o~
the bonds remaining unexpended aster nay~ent of all accosts and
compl~ttennof the water works project, together with the accrued
interest received on delivery of said bonds. The interest payments
to fall due on said bonds before the first of said levies ~h~ll have
been collected shall be paid ~rom the general T~nd o* the Village,
and such fund shall be reimbursed out o* said levies for the amounts
so advanced when the same ~hall have been collected.

~. On or before Octot~er lSth 'n any year, by appropriate resolutio n
the Village ~ouncf~ ~n~y cause the clerk to certify to the Counmy
Auditor the amount of money on hand and available' in its treasury
which it hes deposited in said *und and ~ill uee'!to pay principal and
int,rest on said bonds, and~the county Auditor shall reduce such levy
*or such year as herein nr~vided by such amount. All moneys ~o
eertified shall be set aside in said *und and used *or no other nurpose
than the nayment o~ interest and ~rinoi~] on ~s, id bonds.

The motion ~or the adootion o~ the ~ore~oing resolution was du~y
~ecended by Member O. F. Broeckert and upon vote thereon the following
voted in ~avor thereo~: root, BroecYert, Tu~, Horton,
and the following voted against the ~ame: None
whereupon ma~d resolution wa~ declared duly oassed and adopted.
