Pursuant to due call and noticethereof, a special meeting of the Mound Village Council, was held in their Council RoOm Monday evening August ~7th 1934. Meeting called to o~ler at 8:00 P.M. by Mayor J.C.Xrause, Trustees presentTuff, Broeckert ,¥ost and Horton. Meeting called for the purpose of discussing the proposition of the Village furnishing waterto W.H.A.Koehler for his water system. AttorneyA.A. Sturdevant was requested to draw up an agreement that would be legal and present same at the Regular Meeting of the Council Sept 4th 1934 for further consideration. 259 A motion by Yost Seconded by Broeckert,that $5.69.34 frO~ the Gen'l Fund be loaned to the Water Wks Sinking lm~nd (which is shortS569.34) for the purposeof paying the U.S.Government '~1~0.00, which is the Interest due Sept let 1934, on the Village Bonds and Certificates of Indebtedness, Motion Carried. Motion by Yost seconded by Tuff, that the Clerk be instructed to draw a warrant for $1~9.00 to pay the State Bank of Mound, the Interest el due the U.S. Government on Bonds and Certifiaates of Indebtedness Sept let 1934. A Motion by Tuff seconded by Yost, that the Clerk draw up a resolution to be presented at the regula~ meeting of sept4th 1934. that t.he Watw rates be changed to read ~50,O00.gallons to 500,000 gallons l~h~cents per thousand gallons per quarter, and all over 500,000 8cents per thousand gallons per quarter, Motion Carried.
