M. Officers Present - J. 0. Krause, President;.and Trustees - Yost, Broeckert, Tuff and Norton. Minutes of last regular meeting and special meeting were read and on motion/duly made and carried, were,approved and read. Petition for Water Mains, to be laid in Unit B. Shirley Hills Addition to the Village of Mound, as follows: from the 0o~uty Road north on Edgewater Drive to Lot ~0 to Lot.~? - Block ~ - on Glen Avon Avenue to Lot ·- Block ~, Unit B Shirley,Hills. Signed by Peterson, Syhl, Moe, 0hn, Fosinaik and othere, was presented and read, also the Petition from the Highlands - persented at the August meeting was considered. Motion by Broeckert, seconded by Yost, that a special meeting be held September 10th at 8:00 P. M. for the purpose of further consider- ation of the Petitions for Water Mains - in Shirley Hills and in the Highlands. Motion Oarried. The Village 0ouncil of Mound do ordain that Water Works ordinance $33 - passed June ~th, 1934, be amended that No. 4 "under the follow- lng rates a~e hereby established~ and the last sentence thereof be  amended to read #all over 250 thousand gallons to ~00 thousand gallon§~ and all over 500 thousand gallons $¢ per thousand gallons per quarter~ Motion by Trustee Yost, seconded by Tuff, that amendment be adop~ ed as read - On roll call - Yeas; Yost, Tuff, Broeckert and Norton.. Nays: None. Motion carried. Motion by Tuff - seconded by Yost, tha~ resolution paase~ September 22, 1933, in reference to Mound Water System With W. H. A. Xoehler be recinded. Motion Carried. Discussion as to the extra pay for Resident Engineer was followed by a motion by Trustee Yost to defer definite action until attorney's opinion is rendered as to the contract with Druar & Milinowski, Oonsulting Engineers. Motion carried. Motion by Yost, seconded by Broeckert, that the Village pay Resident Engineer for 60 housr per week at rate of 90~ per hour, or until the Water Main job is completed, but not later than September 29, 1934. Motion carried. Bills were read and a motion by Yost, seconded by Broeckert, that bills be paid and clerk instructed to draw warrents for same. Motion carried. 2(~ A Motion by Yost, seconded by Broeckert, that the Village advertise for Bids for 20© yards or more of grevel and 5000 gallons of road oil, Bids to be opened September 17, 19~4 at 8:00 P. ~.
