In response to due Notice thereof, a Public Assembly at the
Village Council Room, Saturday, November ~4, 1934, for the purpose
of nominating Officers for the coming year,
One President for one year, one Trustee for three
years, One Clerk for Two Years, One Constable for
Two Years, One Justice of Peace for Two Years, One
Justice of Peace for One Year to fill unexpired
term.
J. C. Krause was chosen unamiously to act as Moder&tor, Nomin-
ations then being in order,, the following were nominated:
LeRoy Alwin was nominated for President for One Year.
N. M. Johnson" nominated for President for One Year.
Dr. Huestis was nominated for President for One Year.
On motion made and carried, Nominations were closed.
Ralph March was n~minated for Trustee for Three Years.
Wm. Davis was nominated for Trustee for Three Years.
On motion made and carried, Nominations were closed.
H. I. Horton was nominated for Clerk for Two Years.

Direct relief was discussed, and Mrs. Madsen gave a very
clear explanation of the relief plan.
A motion by Mrs. Jacob Hohl, and seconded by ~rs. Reed, that-'
a vote of thanks be extended to Mrs. Madsen and Mrs. Gebo, for
their interest and efficient work as members of the Welfare Board
in the Village of Mound, Minnesota.
A report that a building had been erected on Park property
in the Highlands and .was occupied. The President said the matter
would be investigated.
A Petition signed by Fourteen Voters asking that there be
submitted to the Voters at the forthcoming election the following
question: "Shall the Village Council of the Village of Mound,
Minnesota, be authorized to issue License for the Off Sale of
Intoxicating Liquor within the limits of the Village of Mound,
Mi nnesota."
