Minutes of a Special meeting of the Mound Village Oouncil,
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Specila meeting of the
Mound Village Oouncil, was held in their Council room, in the
basement of the State Bank of Mound Neb 20%h 19~S a% ~ i~.M.
The Followlr~ members were present, Presidnet W.C.Huestis, Trustees
Yost, March Tuff & Hor~on,
The Presidnet stated the Speclla meeting was called for the purpose
of deciding the proceeding necessary in order to issue warrants,
to pay the Federal Government, payments required according to the
Contract with the Federal Government on Loan to the Village for the
Water Works Project 2616.
Certificates of Indebtedness, $ 1 & 2 of $1000.00 each and one Bond
of $1000.00 due March 1st 1935 with interest, total due $4220.00.
Letters from the Federal R~serve Bank of Minneapolis stating the
money must be on hand in the First National Bank of Minneapolis
March 1st 1955, were received by the Village Sreasurer.
A motion by Trustee rest seconded by March, thatbaction be deferred
on the pa ymentsof the G.I.'s and Bond until the President had
conferred with the Federal ~eserve Bank of Minneapolis and h~
report received , Motion Carried.
The Presidmmt appointed Trustees Tuff, Horton & March on a Oommittee
to appraise the Oottage of Mr.& Mrs. Boynton and report at the next
meeting.
